Guidelines for Authors

Submission
The working paper series is designed to share ongoing research and highlight significant insights in areas aligned with the Department’s main research priorities. The series features work by Department’s staff, visiting scholars, graduate students and participants in the Department’s events.
Visiting scholars may also be invited to serve as reviewers for submissions to the series. We use a double-open peer review approach, in which authors and reviewers are known to each other, fostering a guided and supportive dialogue and greater collaboration.

All submissions must be electronic (including diagrams and pictures).
They are sent to: anpubl26@uni-muenster.de

The author retains full copyright, so publishing a paper in the working paper series does not prevent it from being published elsewhere - such as in a peer-reviewed journal or a book.

Language

We believe that research can be made more inclusive and decolonized through language. Therefore, we aim to provide the possibility to submit contributions in any language. If you are interested in publishing in a language other than English, German, or French, please contact us directly. We will then explore how publication can be made possible, taking into account the capacities of our reviewers and editorial team.

Introductory Information

The following statement will appear in the imprint: "The papers in this series present preliminary research results and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Department".
Each submission consists of an abstract of no more than 200 words and five keywords. A short author biography follows the abstract. Please limit the biography to 3–4 sentences and include the author's contact information. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper, which should be approximately 8,000 words in length.

Format

The text must be set in Times New Roman, 12 pt font, with 1½ line spacing.
