Eight Months In: A Round-Up of Recent Developments

Replication Research (R2) continues to grow, and we're pleased to share several updates from the past few weeks.

First peer review report, decisions, and PubPeer posts
Our first peer review report is now publicly available on Zenodo, and the first formal editorial decisions have been made. In line with our article review procedure, we have also posted our first decisions including reviewer comments on PubPeer. Transparent peer review is a core part of R2's identity, and making reports and decisions openly accessible is one of the ways we put that into practice.

R2 in the Open Economics Guide
The ZBW's Open Economics Guide published an interview with R2's journal manager and editors, covering the state of replication research in economics and business studies, and offering practical entry points for researchers considering their first replication study. The Research on Research Institute (RoRI) featured replications and reproductions including a mention of R2 in their Go Meta! newsletter. We're glad to see growing attention to this question in the broader research community.
