• R2 Website Relaunch and SIPS Mission Award

  • Our new website is available at replicationresearch.org. With new features such as an under review section, a who we are page, and a fully revised article page, we are pushing the limits of transparent and accessible publishing. Upcoming publications of empirical works will contain direct links to published and citable peer review reports and reproducibility certificates, as well as data and materials.
  • R2 received one of three Mission Awards from the Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science. Together with one of the other winners, the Institute for Replication, we will be hosting the 2nd Münster Reproduction Games.
  • Recordings from the Replication Hub Showcase are now available and include R2 and the Replication Journal Federation.

• Updates from Replication Research: First Decisions, Press Coverage, and Upcoming Events

  Replication Research (R2) has been busy! This is to share our most recent milestones: our first peer review report is now publicly available on Zenodo, first editorial decisions have been made, and in line with our review procedure, reviewer comments have been posted publicly on PubPeer. The ZBW Open Economics Guide published a profile of R2 with practical tips for authors new to replication research, and the Research on Research Institute (RoRI) featured replications in their Go Meta! blog. R2 will also be represented at the Replication Hub Showcase on July 1st (you can still register here). Finally, we've made some design improvements to the journal website.   Registration is now open for the Love Replications Week, R2 is now a partner journal for the PRC platform MetaROR, TROLLing, and JCRe. Our Initial Editorial Assessment procedure is published on Zenodo.

• More PCI collaborations and Save the Date for Love Replications Week

  R2 is now a category 2 PCI-friendly journal for PCI Health & Movement Sciences and a PCI-friendly journal for PCI Registered Reports, and the Love Replications Week will include online presentations and tutorials on how to conduct and publish replication research. There will be daily events in the week from March 2 - 6.

• R2 is now PCI-friendly

  R2 is now a category 2 PCI-friendly journal for PCI Psychology, PCI Neuroscience, and PCI Organization Studies. In case of acceptance, published articles will include an editors' note that they were reviewed by PCI. In the near future, we also plan to become PCI-friendly for PCI-RR.

  We invite researchers to share their thoughts and comments on our journal materials between now and September 5. In the remaining weeks ahead of the launch on October 10, we will engage with the feedback and finalize the journal concept.
