OJS Update from 9 to 13 November 2026

Replication Research runs via an open source editorial manager called Open Journal Systems. This software is steadily being improved and expanded. This is to inform you of an upcoming upgrade of our OJS instance from version 3.3 to version 3.5 LTS. The upgrade will take place in calendar week 46 (9–13 November 2026).

Please note the following important information for this period:

• No editorial work in OJS from 9 November up to and including 13 November 2026.
• The submission function will be disabled in all journals for the duration of the upgrade.
• The previous instance (OJS 3.3) will remain online during the upgrade, but no changes (configurations, article uploads, etc.) may be made, as these cannot be transferred to the new version.
• If you are reviewing a manuscript, please pause your reviews during the migration period (9–13 November 2026).
• The final switch to OJS 3.5 will take place on 13 November 2026 – this may result in brief service interruptions.
